Welcome to my new site! As new things happen and I make new art I'll be updating. As for now, call this site a work-in-progress - I'm still editing the photographs taken of my work. This might take some time, but I will upload them one by one as I finish editing. Thank you for your patience
Much love,
Manda
p.s.
Until I take a more professional photo of myself, please enjoy the photo of me eating a cracker at the June 6th Gallery Walk in Hot Springs. :-)

Ok, I gave in. Due to the slow increase of people intrested in seeing my work, I went ahead and quickly uploaded a few more photos of my work. They are unedited and may be of lower quality than the other photos. I apologize , but when I get to editing them, they will be replaced and I will add more information on those pieces. I complete a few new pieces each month, and perhaps I might even load some photos of my Works-In-Progress - I have a beautiful 4"x6" WIP portrait of an indigo bunting that's been sitting on my drafting table that I'd love for you to see. As far as future plans, I'd like to paint a portrait on canvas of a beautiful leucistic (solid white) red-tailed hawk I saw, and even photographed. I see it with hints of violet to compliment the bright yellow sunlight that illuminated it as it descended to the earth... Ahhh...
But.. speaking of photographs, I suppose I'll be uploading my favorite photos of birds and such that I've photographed, though I haven't been doing much photography lately due to technical problems with my camera. I'd like to purchase a new one soon, but that all depends on how well the art selling business goes. Putting money back into art supplies is what matters most right now, but it has only two months since I official came out of my art closet to become a professional. Fortunately, it's going well so far- I just need to get on my butt and paint!

I started two paintings today. Pictures can me seen in "the artistic process" page under Works in Progress. I also added a section to that page about my studio. I hope you enjoy it!
